Who This Workshop Is For
This workshop is for anyone feeling stretched thin, tired, or out of rhythm with their body. If stress has been running the show, your energy feels inconsistent, or you’re craving a slower, more nourishing way to care for yourself, this space is for you.
Through Seasonal Nutrition & Yin Yoga, you’ll be guided to restore steadiness, support your heart, and reconnect with your body—so you can move through winter feeling more grounded, supported, and at ease.
What to Expect
This afternoon gathering blends seasonal nutrition with a guided yin yoga practice to honor winter, the heart, and the quiet nourishment this season offers. Together, we’ll support both our tissues and our vitality through gentle movement and learning how to eat in alignment with the slower, cooler months.
We’ll begin with a seasonal journaling prompt, followed by a simple and supportive lesson on winter nutrition through the lens of both Traditional Chinese Medicine and functional nutrition. You’ll learn how to support digestion, care for your heart, and cultivate steady, sustainable energy as we move into a new year.
Our time together will conclude with a 75-minute yin yoga practice for those longing for stillness and rest—supporting the mind, body, and spirit while helping you gently unravel stress and tension.
Yin yoga is a quiet, grounding style of practice that nourishes connective tissue, calms the nervous system, and builds resilience. It offers a beautiful counterbalance to our busy lives, inviting us to slow down and soften.
During practice, poses are held for three to five minutes with the support of props, allowing the body to gently release and restore. Breath and awareness help the mind settle—like the hush of fresh snowfall in winter.
Often called “needleless acupuncture,” yin yoga helps clear energetic stagnation and supports organ systems such as digestion and circulation.
This workshop is open to all levels, including beginners. We’ll gather in the warm, welcoming space of Lagom Studios to rest, reflect, and reset together as we settle into the winter of 2026.
