Melina Moore
FOUNDER
She/HerGrowing up in a tight-knit Scandinavian family on Marrowstone Island, Melina learned the art of Lagom from her Swedish Mormor.
Melina was introduced to Pilates at 15 to help re-strengthen and stabilize her body after knee surgery and has used it to rehabilitate injuries ever since. During her STOTT Pilates training, she realized that Pilates is an embodied practice of Lagom. Each movement emphasizes the importance of just the right amount of breath, body alignment, and mindful movement to enhance the mind-body connection of Pilates.
Melina is a Pilates teacher, Reiki practitioner, Breathwork Facilitator, and a Human Design super nerd (5/1 Emotional Manifestor-if you’re curious). Always learning, Melina is currently immersed in Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist trainings as well as Yin Yoga teacher training. Melina co-hosts monthly women's circles and quarterly retreats with Sacred Woman Collective Seattle, and loves collaborating with other soul led female entrepreneurs, so feel free to reach out!
Melina inherited a wanderlust from her adventurous Norwegian Farmor, and loves chasing waterfalls all around the world. In between Pilates sessions she is often trying to convince others to go jump into the water with her, painting in her art studio, knitting something cozy, or exploring the world with her husband and their dire wolf, Nymeria aka "Nyny". -
Kari Johnson
She/Her
Kari fell in love with Pilates 13 years ago when her dance teacher introduced it as a way to enhance her strength and flexibility through cross-training. With a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and over a decade of experience teaching group fitness classes and working one-on-one with clients, Kari brings both expertise and passion to her practice. After several years in New York City, where she honed her skills teaching group reformer classes and training private clients, Kari is excited to be back on the West Coast.
Kari believes that movement is more than just exercise — it's a form of medicine and a celebration of what our bodies can achieve. Her classes are designed to be accessible and welcoming to everyone, regardless of fitness level. With Kari, you'll find the perfect balance of flow and challenge, leaving each session feeling more connected to your body, stronger, and refreshed.
When she’s not doing Pilates Kari is reading, going to farmers markets, studying integrative nutrition, experimenting in the kitchen creating unique nourishing recipes, and learning about astrology. She is happiest in the sunshine and by the water, so when Seattle gets a little too gray she loves to travel to get her fix of vitamin D and vitamin sea.

LouBee Zielinski
She/Her
As an advocate for life-long, active play, especially as we age, I enjoy helping others find joy in their movement and confidence in their bodies so that they may take every opportunity life presents to them. Yoga, Pilates, scrambling about and dance (by all its names) has enabled me to run trails, climb trees, fall off rocks, and generally frolic around the PNW in ways I never imagined possible after my back surgery 14 years ago. In the time since, Pilates has improved my bodily awareness and provided the postural endurance necessary for everything from trans-Pacific flights to week-long hikes. I began teaching movement 13 years ago in the karate dojos of Okinawa, Japan, then moved on to the yoga mat and now I am fully trained through STOTT Pilates. I love the opportunity to work with anyone seeking to improve how they move, feel and think about their body in either group or private sessions. My favorite things to do with my body are: play outside, love on animals, dance, eat, and acro (partnered acrobatics; also know as acro yoga to some, and the most fun I have playing as an “adult”). In all my frolicking thus far, I’ve found the feeling of flow to be one in the same as the innate state of play we all grew up knowing and have only perhaps forgotten the vital importance thereof. Together we can remind each other what it is to relish moving for the pure fun of it through play in whatever form we choose. Have fun my friends, your health depends on it ;)

Jill Mattern
She/Her
Jill is a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor, yoga teacher, and Kripalu Outdoor Mindfulness Guide who believes in the power of movement as medicine, strength training as we age, and nature as a wise and steady healer. Her path into the wellness world was sparked by a solo 100-mile backpacking trip around Mt. Rainier—a transformative journey that inspired her to shift careers and become a yoga teacher. Over time, she recognized a need for deeper anatomical understanding and pursued Pilates training to better support functional movement and long-term strength.
With a professional background in education from kindergarten through the university level, Jill brings curiosity, patience, and clarity to her teaching. She’s passionate about helping people of all fitness levels build strength, mobility, and resilience—so they can continue to do what they love, both indoors and out, at every stage of life.
Her internationally trained background in nature-based mindfulness and sound healing informs her Pilates teaching, offering students a calm, embodied experience that supports both the nervous system and the body’s capacity to adapt, heal, and grow stronger. Haley Jones
She/Her
Haley has been a lifelong lover of movement, and firmly believes in meeting one’s body where it’s at on any given day. She found Pilates a handful of years ago and have been hooked ever since. She loves teaching contemporary/athletic flows and learning more about the practice by connecting with other Pilates lovers. In addition to her Pilates instructor certification, she has a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and a master’s degree in business and finance. She attended Thunderbird School of Global Management—an international graduate school in her hometown of Glendale, AZ—and was the only person in her graduating class to have never left the country. She didn’t have the opportunity to travel growing up, so her goal as an adult has always been to work extra hard so she can travel the world. She’s since had the incredible privilege to travel to Antarctica with National Geographic, as well as explore a sampling of countries. Her favorite place is Iceland. The landscape and energy there is magical. She also loves flamingos, so traveling to Flamingo Island in Aruba was very exciting! She hasn’t been everywhere, but it’s on her list! She’d love to hear about your travels! Her second favorite place in the world is Seattle and there’s no place she’d rather live. Her husband, Josh, and their three dogs, Aussie, Chloe, and Sherlock, have had a blast exploring their new home here in the PNW. When she’s not at the studio, catch her at the Space Needle!

Jessica has been an advocate for Pilates ever since she realized that long hours at a desk were wreaking havoc on her body and her mental health. Once she found Pilates and found relief from pain, she was hooked - not to mention classes were fun! After encouragement from Melina, Jessica is now a STOTT trained Pilates instructor - she still works in the corporate world, but her well-being has greatly improved!
Jessica is a believer in movement and its link to our holistic well-being: whether it’s a leisurely walk, weight-lifting, or a Pilates class, movement is great for the mind, body and soul. She has been dancing Hula for the past 20 years and has experience in Filipino cultural dancing as well.
When not working, teaching, or dancing, you can find Jessica drinking coffee and lounging with her husband and their amazing dog, Sophie. She loves connecting with others and would love to have you in her class!
